Proper signage is posted accordingly and we will continue to adhere to the CDC recommendations, Allegheny County and Governor’s order:
- Anyone entering will need to have a mask on and practice social distancing. Hand sanitizer will be available for your use in the vestibule.
- The building will remain locked and a door bell placed for entry. Please use the doorbell for service.
- One person will be admitted at a time, (in order to provide safe ingress and egress).
- For your safety and the employee’s the Borough Building restrooms are closed to the public.
- Please follow the tape Arrows for flow in one door, (play ground entrance) and out (uni mart exit).
- A plexi-glass window on hinges is be placed on the tax collector’s half door in order to put a safe barrier up for business.
- The Borough Clerk will continue to work from the back office, to take care of any resident inquiries etc.
- The Borough Manager will continue to meet as needed with contractors, vendors, residents.
- Everything to this point has operated and worked very smoothly. Our Borough Building operations continued the entire pandemic. Building permits, Zoning permits, street opening permits, tax collection, phone calls, property sales, occupancy permits, resident questions, phone calls and emails have all been handled as business as usual.
