The current garbage contract expires at the end of December 2023.
Bids were sought out and officials accepted the lowest most responsible bidder: Bigs/Earthwise. Please be advised that the garbage collection has significantly increased. Council has agreed to spread the increase over the 4 year term contact. With that being said. The 2024 Garbage bills will reflect the new amount of $298.00 for the year. If you pay in full by March 31, 2023 there’s a $10.00 decrease in price.
